ORLANDO, Fla. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's tennis team fell to Hendrix College 6-3 at the USTA National Campus on Sunday to kick off its Florida trip. The Blugolds won two singles matches and one doubles match against the Warriors.

UW-Eau Claire got singles wins from Demetri Bush (Sr. - Edina, Minn./Duluth Marshall) and Pablo Rincón (Fr. - Bogotá, Colombia). Bush prevailed 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, while Rincón won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles.

Bush and Rincón also teamed up on the doubles court, where they won the No. 2 flight for the Blugolds. They won their match 8-6.

The Blugolds will be right back in action on Monday, March 18. They face Oglethorpe University at Sanlando Park in Orlando at 8 a.m. Eastern.
