Why did you choose Eau Claire?
"Eau Claire is known for having a great hockey program ranking consistently as one of the best Division III schools in the country. That was a huge attraction for me, I loved the idea of being able to play on a great team and compete in a very tough conference. I also loved the school when I first visited, the campus and student body are not too big and not too small which was ideal for me. Eau Claire offered a wide variety of majors which was not available to me before. Having a path to pursue a career in whatever my interests are was a great benefit in choosing Eau Claire."

Are you involved with other clubs/organizations on campus?
"I am currently a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society for transfer students."

How do you balance being a student-athlete?
"Balancing being a student-athlete can be challenging, I have found that staying ahead of schoolwork and communicating with my professors has made it much easier to focus on both school and hockey."

What moment in your athletic career at UW-Eau Claire are you most proud of?
"The moment I am most proud of in my athletic career at Eau Claire is winning a WIAC Championship during the 2021-2022 season."

What is your favorite pre/post competition snack?
"My favorite pregame meal is grilled chicken and pasta. My favorite post game meal is steak and potatoes."

What is your dream job?
"My dream job would be to pursue a coaching career in hockey. Giving back to hockey is something I have always strived to do. I love seeing younger players grow and develop into great athletes and people."

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
"I would travel to Greece, it looks beautiful and has amazing history."

If you could spend the day with one professional athlete/celebrity, who would it be?
"If I could spend one day with a professional athlete it would be with Sidney Crosby. He was my idol growing up in Pittsburgh like many others. Although he is one of the best players to ever play hockey, he is considered one of the best people in the professional sports world. I would want to see how he interacts with others and what he does to make himself one of the top athletes in the world."

What advice do you have for current/incoming Blugold student-athletes?
"It's cliche to say but I would tell an incoming athlete to enjoy every second of it. Your four years of college goes by extremely quickly and playing a sport in college is a unique opportunity not many others get to pursue."
