EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team announced its team award winners.
Senior,
Max Gutjahr was named the Jeff Jaraczewski Award (Team MVP). Gutjahr was the backbone of the team all season long, finishing with 617 saves, a 2.26 GAA, .913 SV%, 4 shutouts, and a 16-8-2 record. The senior has been a mainstay between the pipes for the Blugolds the last four seasons.
Senior,
Trenten Heyde was named the team's Most Dedicated. The 2025/26 team captain finished the season with 1 goal and 8 assists for 9 points. He also recorded 34 blocked shots, showcasing his willingness to do whatever it took to help the team. Following the conclusion of the season, Heyde singed his first professional contract with the Peoria Rivermen.
Freshman,
Logan Ganz was named the Wallace G Akervik Top Freshman Award. Ganz had himself a strong freshman campaign, scoring 7 goals, two of which were game winners, and 14 assists for 21 points.
Sophomore,
Connor Thompsonwas named the Richard G O'Brien Award (Work ethic on and off the ice). Thompson's sophomore season saw him score 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points. Thompson was an especially reliable center in the faceoff dot winning 56% of his draws.
