MADISON, Wis.— The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's hockey team had six players earn All-WIAC honors to end their 2025-26 season.
Senior forward
Leo Bacallao was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Men's Ice Hockey Team. Bacallao scored 12 goals, 9 assists, and 21 points in 26 games, tying for the team lead in points on the year.
Senior goalie
Max Gutjahr was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Men's Ice Hockey Team. Gutjahr started all 26 games for the Blugolds finishing with a 16-8-2 record, a 2.18 Goals Against Average, 617 saves, and 4 shutouts.
Senior defenseman
Trenten Heyde was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Men's Ice Hockey Team, as well as the Max Sparger Men's Hockey Scholar Athlete. The Blugolds' captain scored 1 goal, 8 assists, 9 points, and blocked 34 shots in 25 games this season.
Senior defenseman
Max Ruoho was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Men's Ice Hockey Team. Ruoho put up 15 assists, 15 points, and was +9 in 21 game this season.
Sophomore forward
Nolan Grier was named a 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team Honorable Metion. Grier scored 11 goals, 5 assists, and 16 points in 26 games for the Blugolds.
Junior forward
Tyler Herzberg was named to the WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
