OSHKOSH, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's gymnastics team headed to Eastern Wisconsin for another Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) dual against UW-Oshkosh. Five Blugolds earned top-five scores in their events for the Blugolds during their final dual of the season.
Results
On the bars, Liliana Shank (Sr. – Elkhart, Ind./Concord) led the Blugolds with a fifth-place finish and a 9.200 routine. Tia Ravara (Jr. – San Leandro, Calif./Bishop O'Dowd) and Harriet Toth (So. – Regina, SK/Martin) placed sixth and seventh respectively. On the vault, Haiven Gipson (Fr. – Lafayette, Ind./Harrison) tied for fifth with a 9.500. Toth was the next highest Blugold with a 9.375.
Molly Campbell (Fr. – Lincoln, Neb./Northeast) led the way on the beam with a 9.550 and a second-place finish. Toth and Ravara were the next highest UWEC scores with 9.400 and 9.375. On the floor, Harriet Toth recorded the highest Blugold score with a 9.475. Emma Barry (Sr. – Allen Park, Mich.) was close behind in seventh with a 9.425.
The Blugolds will hit the road again on Friday, February 24th when they travel to UW-Oshkosh for another WIAC dual. The firs rotation is scheduled for 6:00pm.
