EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team hosted UW-Oshkosh on Friday night, falling to the Titans by a score of 186.900 to 178.700.

Danielle Malecha (So. - Inver Grove Heights, MN/Rosemount) scored a 9.450 to lead the Blugolds on the balance beam, placing third.
Emma Barry (Fr. – Allen Park, MI) led Eau Claire on the vault, placing fourth with a score of 9.325 while Christina Leikam (Fr. – Aurora, CO/Cherokee Trail) also tallied a fourth place finish after recording an 8.900 on the uneven parallel bars.
On the floor exercise, Jordan Ehde (Sr. - Stillwater, MN) was the highest Blugold finisher with a 9.225 to take fifth place.
Next week Eau Claire will travel to Menomonie for at meet at UW-Stout before returning to McPhee on March 7th as they host the WIAC Championship/NCGA West Regional.
