EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire gymnastics team hosted UW-Whitewater on Saturday afternoon, falling to the Warhawks, 180.900-173.900.

The Blugolds outscored the Warhawks on beam, 44.125 to 43.225 and were led by Erin Hillegonds' (Jr. – Washington, IL) 9.275, which placed her second in the event.
Andrea Gessner (Jr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) led the way on the vault, taking second with a 9.250 while Emma Barry (Fr. – Allen Park, MI) was the highest Blugold finisher on the bars, tallying an 8.850 and placing fourth. On floor, Jordan Ehde (Sr. - Stillwater, MN) was sixth (8.950) to lead Eau Claire. Ehde also finished third in the all-around with a 34.175.
The Blugolds will be back in action Friday, January 31st at UW-La Crosse.
