La Crosse, Wis. (Blugolds.com)- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's tennis team lost a road dual to UW-Whitewater Sunday morning. The Blugold men 18-4 fell to the Warhawks 6-3, snapping a four-match win streak.

The Blugolds got out to a slow start in doubles play, winning one of three doubles matches.  Renan Barros (Itajai, Santa Catarina, Brazil) paired with Matt Gilbert (Minneapolis, Minn. /Washburn) were the Blugolds only in victory doubles play,defeating Monterroso/Wood (UWW) 8-6 at the number three slot. 

In Singles action, Barros defeated Engelhart (UWW) 6-2, 6-1 at the number three singles slot, followed by a victory from Daniel Schoen (Brookfield, Wis/ Central) at the four spot.
