St. Peter, Minn. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire Men's Tennis team improves to 2-1 on the season with a 9-0 win over Bethany Lutheran on Friday.

Results

In singles action, Michael Mauthe (Neenah, Wis.) won by scores of 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Will Weyenberg (Neenah, Wis.) recorded 6-2, 6-3 scores for the win at No. 2. Danny Schoen (Brookfield, Wis.) tallied 6-0, 6-0 scores for the win at No. 3 and  Andrew Dahl (Fort Atkinson,Wis.) won by score of 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4.  Conrad Felten (Wausau, Wis.) and Zach Janssen (Green Bay, Wis.) also recorded wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.

Mauthe and Dahl tallied another win at No. 1 doubles while Schoen and Weyenberg won 8-2 at No.2 doubles. Felten and Janssen both won by a score of 7-0 at No. 3 doubles. 

The Blugolds will take on Gustavus Adolphus tomorrow at 8:00am.
