MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire tennis team moved to 14-5 on the season after a 9-0 win over Edgewood College on Friday.

In singles action, Kyle Hoffmann (Jr. Franklin, Wis.) won by scores of 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, while Will Weyenberg (So. Neenah, Wis.) recorded 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 scores for the win at No. 2. Andrew Rust (Fr. Golden Valley, Minn.) tallied 6-1, 6-1 scores for the win at No. 3 and Michael Mauthe (So. Neenah, Wis.) won by score of 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4.  Conrad Felten (So. Wausau, Wis.) and Andrew Dahl (Fr. Fort Atkinson, Wis.) also recorded wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.

Hoffman and Dahl tallied another win at No. 1 doubles while Rust and Weyenberg and Mauthe and Jordon Stevens (Jr. Woodbury, Minn.) both won by a score of 8-1 at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.

The Blugolds will take on Wartburg College on Saturday at noon.
