DUBUQUE, Iowa (blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team traveled to Iowa Friday and came away with a 9-0 win over Loras.

Results

 Kyle Hoffmann (Jr. Franklin, Wis.) defeated Brian Falvey at number one singles, 6-2, 6-2.

Will Weyenberg (So. Neenah, Wis.) and Andrew Rust (Fr. Golden Valley, Minn.) won by forfeit at two and three while Michael Mauthe (So. Neenah, Wis.) defeated Neil Kane 6-0, 6-2 at number four singles.

At number five singles, Andrew Dahl (Fr. Fort Atkinson, Wis.) defeated Paul Mniszewski 6-1, 6-0.

Jordon Stevens (Jr. Woodbury, Minn.) finished the sweep in singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win at number six singles.

Hoffmann and Dahl defeated Falvey and Zach Atzen 8-4 at number one while Weyenberg and Rust fended off Ulises Hernandez and Kane 8-4 at number two.

The number three team of Mauthe and Stevens game the Blugolds their final victory, winning by a score of 8-0.

The Blugolds will be back in action Saturday as they take on Dubuque and Lawrence in Dubuque.
