DE PERE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis swept St. Norbert, 9-0 Friday night.

Kyle Hoffmann (Jr. Franklin, Wis.) defeated Nate Gosz 6-2, 6-2 at number one singles.

At number two, Will Weyenberg (So. Neenah, Wis.) defeated Leon Gilman, 6-1, 6-1.

Andrew Rust (Fr. Golden Valley, Minn.) notched a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Casey Brice at number three singles while Michael Mauthe (So. Neenah, Wis.) won 6-1, 6-1 atnumber four singles, defeating Lincoln Metz 6-1, 6-2 at number four.

At number five singles, Conrad Felten (So. Wausau, Wis.) defeated Ben Vande Zande 6-2, 6-2 and Andrew Dahl (Fr. Fort Atkinson, Wis.) beat Kahlo Vue at number six singles, 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles action, Hoffmann and Dahl defeated Gosz and Gilman 8-3 at number one while Weyenberg and Rust beat Brice and Vande Zande 8-1 at number two.

The number three team of Jordon Stevens (Jr. Woodbury, Minn.) and Mauthe finished the sweep defeating Vue and Robert Quinlan 8-0.

The Blugolds will host St. Scholastica next Friday at 7 p.m.
