ST. PETER, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team took to the road Saturday, falling to No. 14 Gustavus Adolphus, 9-0.

In number four singles, Michael Mauthe (So. Neenah, Wis.) led the Blugolds, winning his second set and forcing the match into a tie breaker before falling 6-0, 2-6, 10-2.

In doubles action, Andrew Dahl (Fr. Fort Atkinson, Wis.) and Kyle Hoffmann (Jr. Franklin, Wis.) won four games at number one doubles, and Will Weyenberg (So. Neenah, Wis.) and Andrew Rust (Fr. Golden Valley, Minn.)matched that mark at number two doubles with both 8-4 loses.

The doubles team of Jordan Stevens (Jr. Woodbury, Minn.) and Mauthe, won three games at number three doubles, falling 8-3.

The Blugolds return to the court on Sunday morning, remaining in Minnesota to face St. Cloud St. at 9 a.m.
