EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire men's tennis team had little trouble picking up a 9-0 victory over St. Ambrose University (Iowa) on the Olson Indoor Tennis Courts in the McPhee Physical Education Center today.

Results

In doubles, Luke Zwiener (Fr.-Saint Cloud, Minn.) and Jordon Stevens (So.-Woodbury, Minn.), playing at No. 3, didn't drop a game as they won 8-0. The other two doubles teams picked up 8-2 victories.

In singles play, the Blugolds won all six matches and lost only a combined seven games as they all won in straight sets.

Nathan Tretsven (So.-North St. Paul, Minn.), Will Weyenberg (Fr.-Neenah, Wis.) and Conrad Felten (Fr.-Wausau, Wis./East) all won with scores of 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively.

The Blugolds are now 12-5 on the season while St. Ambrose falls to 1-14.

Sunday, the Blugolds will host St. Cloud State University (Minn.) at 2 p.m.
