University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire

Matt Cross enters his third season as an assistant coach for UW-Eau Claire men's soccer in 2023. 

Most recently Cross coaches at the Salvo Soccer Club in Eagan, Minn. Matt's roles include Girls Academy Head Coach, WPSL Assistant and General Manager. He also was the Central Geo Director, Girls Head Coach, and Boys Head Coach in 2019 to 2020. 

Before working at Salvo, Cross was the Girls Assistant Varsity Coach at Centennial High School. In 2019, his team was the MSHSL State Runner Ups. In the 2015 to 2017 seasons, Cross coached at North St. Paul High School as an Assistant Boys Varsity Coach with Coach Holm.

Matt was involved with multiple youth soccer clubs during and prior to his high school roles, with coaching jobs with Blaine Soccer Club, St. Croix Soccer Club, and Mahtomedi Soccer Club.
