Garry Grant enters his 21st year as UW-Eau Claire's Head Athletic Trainer in 2025-26. He has served in the role since 2005.

Grant's primary sport coverages are football, gymnastics and golf. He also serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology and Approved Clinical Instructor for the UW-Eau Claire Athletic Training Education Program. Coursework that he is responsible for teaching at UW-Eau Claire include: Prevention & Care of Athletic/Exercise Injuries, Palpatory Anatomy in Kinesiology, Therapeutic Exercise in Athletic Training, Athletic Training Apprenticeship, and Medical Aspects of Athletic Training.

Grant completed his education at North Dakota State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. He also earned a Master of Science in Education from North Dakota State.

Grant is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association. Grant serves as an American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Instructor as well as holding a specialized certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA.

Prior to working at UW-Eau Claire, Grant was the Head Athletic Trainer at Dakota Wesleyan from 2002-2005.

Garry and his wife Lori have two children, Mason and Marcus and reside in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
