Personal
Why did you choose UW-Eau Claire?
I chose Eau Claire because there are so many more opportunities for me. I am able to study what I originally wanted to going into college and the guys on the team welcomed me in from Day 1.
Why do you choose to play Division III?
I chose Division lll because I wanted to challenge myself academically while still playing competitive baseball.
Who is your role model/mentor? Why are they important to you?
My late coach Vince Harris and my current trainer Eddie Acosta-Gonzalez. Early on Vince gave me and a few of my friends a chance to go to a high school to learn at a higher level while preparing for college baseball that we probably would not have even known about without him and it completely changed my life. I would not be where I am today without everything he did for me. Since Vince got sick a a few years ago I met Eddie and he continued everything Vince was helping me with on my path to playing college ball and he was the one who helped me transfer here.
