Nick Emanuel enters his first season as an assistant coach with UW-Eau Claire baseball in 2025.
Emanuel joins UW-Eau Claire after three seasons spent as an assistant coach for UW-Superior. He served as the Yellowjackets' catchers coach and assistant hitting coach. He helped UW-Superior win 62 games over that three-year span, capped by an appearance in the championship round of the UMAC Tournament in 2024.
Emanuel played professionally with the Great Falls Voyagers in the independent Pioneer League from 2021-23. Before getting into coaching and his professional career, Emanuel shined as a player at the NCAA Division I level with North Dakota State University. He helped the Bison win the Summit League Tournament championship in 2021, giving the team its first NCAA regional berth since 2014. Emanuel captained that team. He is North Dakota State's all-time career leader with a .995 fielding percentage.
In his prep days, Emanuel starred for Esko High School in Esko, Minnesota. He was a candidate for Minnesota's Mr. Baseball award as a senior in 2016 after hitting .471 with 16 extra-base hits and 26 RBI.
Emanuel holds a degree in Management Communication with minors in Business Administration and Sociology from North Dakota State.
