Craig Walter was the head coach of the UW-Eau Claire baseball program from 1989 to 1995. He was the most successful coach in program history prior to its shutdown after 1995. Walter accrued a 68-25 conference record and guided the Blugolds to three national postseasons — two in the NAIA and the team's first-ever NCAA postseason berth.
