NORTHFIELD, Minn. — UW-Eau Claire men's cross country finished seventh out of 18 teams at the St. Olaf Invitational, posting a team score of 194 in the 8K race. South Dakota State won the team competition with 24 points.
Andrew Thaler led the Blugolds, finishing 29th overall with a time of 26:17. Kyle McNally followed in 40th place at 26:30.6, while Daniel Lewis finished 51st in 26:49.4.
Isaac Schouten placed 54th with a time of 26:54.1, followed closely by Max Adams in 55th at 26:54.4. Carter Quackenbush finished 56th in 26:55.5, and Cooper Wittek rounded out the Blugolds' top seven in 67th place with a time of 27:10.6.
UW-Eau Claire returns to action Saturday, October 3, at the Running of the Cows meet. The Blugolds will compete at 12 p.m. on the Bill Huyck Championship Course in Northfield, Minn.
