TEMPE, Ariz. - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team earned team and individual academic awards from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for their hard work in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.
In addition to the team award, a total of ten Blugolds earned individual recognition:
Stella Platt (Fr. - Shawnee Kan./Shawnee),
Morgan Briggman (So. - Hutchinson, Minn./Hutchinson),
Liv Herzog (Sr. - Owatonna, Minn./Owatonna),
Ana Paula Ricaurte (So. - Guayaquil, Ecuador),
Lily Kennedy (Fr. - Monticello, Minn./Monticello),
Kiera Schmid (Fr. - Inver Grove Heights, Minn./Simley),
Aubrey Wittwer (So. - Delano, Minn./Delano),
Delaney Hanson (So. - New London, Minn./New London-Spicer),
Beatriz Felchak (So. - Curitiba, Brazil), and
Megan Greenlees (Jr. - Burlington, Wis./East Troy).
A total of 1,309 Division III women's tennis student athlete and 177 Division III programs received ITA academic honors. To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form. Teams secured the distinction by having a team grade point average of 3.20 or above.
