MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of March 30 - April 5. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire softball's Siri Springer has been named the Softball Position Athlete of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Against Hope College (Mich.) on April 4, Springer went 5-for-6 from the plate with five singles, averaging .833. Along with her two RBI's and team leading batting average, Springer slugged at a .833 rate and tallied an on-base percentage of .857.
