MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of April 20 - April 26. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire baseball's Sebastian De La Toba has been named the Baseball Athlete of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.
De La Toba recorded two complete game victories during the week as the Blugolds went 2-0 with De La Toba starting on the mound. With a 1.50 ERA in 18 innings, Sebastian surrendered just three earned runs and 13 hits. His 10 strikeouts helped UW-Eau Claire gain wins over UW-La Crosse and UW-Platteville.
