ST. PETER, Minn. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's men's team secured a solid third-place finish at the Bobby Krig Invite with a total score of 888 (+36), narrowly missing second place by two strokes. Junior
Spencer Lynch led the Blugolds with a tie for 10th individually, posting a final score of 221 (+8).

Spencer Lynch led the team, tying for 10th individually with a score of 221 (+8), highlighted by an even-par 71 in the opening round.
Luke Taebel closely followed, tying for 13th with a final score of 222 (+9), showing improvement with a 72 (+1) in the final round.
Drew Maglio also contributed significantly, tying for 20th with a total of 225 (+12), including consistent rounds of 76 (+5) and a final round of 73 (+2).
UW-Eau Claire's second team finished 12th, with
Alec Sosnowski leading the squad, tying for 30th with a total of 229 (+16).
Cameron Stenzel finished tied for 42nd with a score of 232 (+19), maintaining consistent scores in each round.
Karsen Kruse, a freshman, faced challenges but completed the event in 93rd place with a score of 261 (+48).
Looking ahead, the Blugolds will be back on the road on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and 26 when they compete at the SJU Spring Invitational, hosted by Saint John's University. Tee times on Saturday from Wapicada Golf Course in Sauk Rapids, Minn. are scheduled for 10 a.m.
