Box Score Appleton, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team followed up last night's performance with another sweep today against Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. The Blugolds finished the day with another strong performance from the entire team.

The day began with Olivia Herzog and Beatriz Felchak winning the No. 1 doubles match 6-4. The No. 2 match was won by Reese Burton and Delaney Hanson 6-3. Morgan Briggman and Stella Platt capped off doubles play with a 6-4 as the Blugolds looked ahead to singles play.

The Blugolds stayed hot in singles play as they won all six matches. Herzog, Felchak and Burton kept up their winning ways in doubles play all winning their matches. The No. 4 singles match was won by Aubrey Wittwer 6-1 and 6-0. Ana Paula Ricaurte took the No. 5 singles match 6-1, 6-1, and Kiera Schmid brought the day to a close with a win 6-2, 6-1.

The Blugolds return to play next with a trip to Stevens Point to take on the Pointers on Friday, Octorber 3 at 3 p.m.
