Box Score Appleton, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team continued it's strong start to the season as they traveled to Appleton, WI to take on Ripon College. The Blugolds finished the night with a clean 7-0 sweep, surrendering no sets on the night.

The night started off with Olivia Herzog and Beatriz Felchak winning the No. 1 doubles match 6-1. Following match one, Reese Burton and Delaney Hanson won their doubles match 6-0. Morgan Briggman and Stella Platt rounded off the doubles matches with a 6-2 win giving the Blugolds plenty of momentum moving into singles matches.

The Blugolds continued their winning ways in singles play as they won all six matches in straight sets. Herzog, Felchak and Burton carried over their strong starts in doubles play all winning their matches in two sets. Aubrey Wittwer played a clean match in No. 4 singles winning her sets 6-0 and 6-1. Both Ana Paula Ricaurte and Kiera Schmid finished the evening strong not allowing Ripon any game victories winning 6-0, 6-0.

The Blugolds will be right back at it tomorrow, Sunday, September 28 staying in Appleton, WI to take on Lawrence University. First matches are set for 10:00 a.m.
