EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire softball team had five student-athletes named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday.
Paige Lathrop (Jr. – South Milwaukee, Wis.),
Molly Marquardt (So. – Manhattan, Ill./Lincoln-Way West),
Megan Patterson (Sr. – Johnsburg, Ill.),
Jacie Schultz (Sr. – Lake Crystal, Minn./Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial) and
Kenna Strunsee (Sr. – Waukesha, Wis./South) all received the honor. Strunsee earned the honor for the third time in her career, while Lathrop and Patterson both were second-time honorees. Marquardt and Schultz both received the distinction for the first time.
The 2025 Academic All-District Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
