Huschka named to D3hoops.com All-America Team

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's basketball team's Carter Huschka (Sr. – Farmington, Minn.) was named a third team All-American by D3hoops.com for the 2024-25 season. The organization announced its All-America teams Saturday.

Huschka is the first Blugolds men's basketball player to earn All-America honors since 2001, when Sherm Carstensen was named a first team selection by D3hoops.com. Huschka's is the 35th All-America honor in program history.

Huschka, a forward, led the Blugolds in scoring with 19.0 points per game this season. He also ranked second on the team with 8.1 rebounds per game. He ranked second in the WIAC in scoring average and third in both rebounding and blocks per game (1.2). Huschka was a two-time WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week this season and landed on the D3hoops.com Team of the Week once. He had seven double-doubles this season and averaged 20.5 points and 8.6 rebounds per contest in eight games against Top 25 opponents.
