Women's tennis drops dual to No. 6 WashU

Box Score ST. LOUIS — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team dropped a dual to No. 6 Washington University in St. Louis at Forest Lake Tennis Club on Saturday. The highly-ranked Bears won each match to knock off the Blugolds.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • WashU won all three doubles matches while only dropping one game to earn the single team point up for grabs from doubles.

  • The Bears finished off their victory with six straight-set wins in singles play.
  • It was the Blugolds' first dual against a nationally ranked opponent this season.

UP NEXT

UW-Eau Claire takes on Bethel (Minn.) on Saturday, February 15, in Rogers, Minnesota. The dual begins at 3 p.m.
