Women's tennis bests UW-Superior

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team picked up a dominant 6-1 win over the University of Wisconsin-Superior in Eau Claire on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

UW-Eau Claire won all three doubles matches and took five of the six in singles.
No. 1 Doubles: Samantha Fuchs (Sr. – DeForest, Wis.) and Anna Lee (Jr. – Buffalo, Minn.) dominated their match, defeating their opponents 6-1. Fuchs also won the No. 1 singles match in straight sets.
No. 2 Singles: Anna Lee (Jr. – Buffalo, Minn.) powered through Superior's No. 2 seed, securing a 6-1, 6-2 win.
No. 4 Singles: Liv Herzog (Jr. – Owatonna, Minn.) claimed a 6-2, 6-1 victory, adding another point for the Blugolds.

UP NEXT

The Blugolds will look to continue their momentum next Sunday when they scrimmage Winona State University and Luther College in Winona, Minn.
