Oshkosh, Wis. - The UW-Eau Claire women's cross country team finished the WIAC Cross Country Championships placing 2nd out of 8 teams with 63 total points. Molly Heidorn won the conference championships outright with a 1st-place finish, running 21:18.3. Heidorn's stellar day was a key factor in the team's overall performance. She ran her best time of the year and her collegiate best time to date.
Following Heidorn in 14th place was Ryann Wagner finishing at 22:00.1 and Keeley Behr in 17th finishing at 22:05.2. Following them was a pack of Jordan Chen 22:21.6 (23rd), Reagan Zimmerman 22:23.1 (24th), and Libby Beirne 22:25.5 (26th), all cracking the top 30.
