Stevens Point, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team fell short in conference play to UW-Stevens Point. The Blugolds finished the night losing 4 matches to 3.
The Blugolds were took one of three doubles matches. Morgan Briggman and
Delaney Hanson won their match 6-2 win giving the Blugolds some momentum moving into singles matches.
The Blugolds won three of their six singles matches falling just short of enough to with the day.
Reese Burton won in two sets 6-3, and 6-4.
Aubrey Wittwer also won both her sets 6-3, and 6-3. The day was finished with a tight three set match for
Kiera Schmid. She won the match 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.
The Blugolds will return to play tomorrow, Saterday, October 4th at UW-Oshkosh at 9:00 a.m.
