MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of October 13-19. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's cross country team's Molly Heidorn has been named women's cross country's WIAC Athlete of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.

Heidorn was the top WIAC finisher at the Augustana College (Ill.) Interregional Invitational, placing seventh of 349 runners, leading the Blugolds to an eight-place finish out of 40 teams. She covered the 6,000-meter course in 21:57, a lifetime PR, and 54 seconds faster than one year ago at this same meet.
