SAINT PAUL, Minn. (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer was back on the road Thursday evening with a nonconference matchup with Hamline University. The Blugolds dominated the field on both sides of the ball from the opening whistle to earn the 3-0 shutout.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Molly Henderson (Sr. – Duluth, Minn.) opened the scoring for UW-Eau Claire in the 17th minute on a loose ball in the box to earn her first goal of the season. Sophie Hubbard (Sr. – De Pere, Wis.) added to the Blugold lead in the 25th minute on a header to give the Blugolds the 2-0 advantage at halftime.
- Jayda Swopes (So. – Janesville, Wis.) sealed the three-goal win in the 47th minute on a curling shot from outside the 18-yard and found the top right corner.
- Kori Millis (Sr. – Shakopee, Minn.), Caroline Curran (Fr. – Lakeville, Minn.), and Lisette Thurman (So. – Farmington, Minn.) each earned a primary assist on the three Blugold tallies.
- Kennedy Boll (Sr. – Franklin, Wis.) recorded four saves in her second shutout of the season to earn her second win of the year. Boll is now 2-1-0 and holds 14 career shutouts.

The Blugolds (2-1-0) will be back on the road on Saturday, September 7
th when they travel to St. Catherine University. Kick off from St. Kate's is scheduled for 11 a.m.
