WHITEWATER, Wis. (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis traveled to Whitewater this Saturday to face the Warhawks. The match resulted in a 8-1 loss for the Blugolds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Anna Lee (Jr. - Buffalo, Minn.) was the lone Blugold victory of the afternoon with a tiebreaker win at #2 singles.
- Beatriz Felchak (Fr. – Curitiba, Brazil) and Reese Burton (Fr. – Lakeville, Minn.) held an early lead at #2 doubles but eventually fell 8-6.
- Samantha Fuchs (Sr. – DeForest, Wis.) also went to tiebreaker set but fell 10-7.

The Blugolds will head to St. Peters, Minnesota on Friday, September 20
th for the Midwest ITA Regional Tournament, until Saturday September 22
nd.
