EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) - University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Director of Sports Medicine/Athletic Training Garry Grant has announced the hiring of Justin Edge ahead of the 2024-25 sports season.

Prior to UWEC, Edge served as an assistant athletic trainer at Marian University for two years in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. 

Edge is a native of Belleville, Wisconsin. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science and Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from UW-Stevens Point. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA), the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association (GLATA), and the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers' Association (WATA). He holds a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
