Box Score WAVERLY, Iowa (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team swept Wartburg 9-0 on the road on Saturday afternoon. The Blugolds won five of six singles matches without dropping a set and cruised through doubles play too.

Samantha Fuchs (Jr. - DeForest, Wis.), Anna Lee (So. - Buffalo, Minn.), Sydney Presler (Sr. - Eau Claire, Wis./Altoona), Liv Herzog (So. - Owatonna, Minn.) and Téa Armstrong (Jr. - Blue Earth, Minn./Blue Earth Area) all won their singles matches in straight sets. Morgan Dekan (Jr. - Altoona, Wis.) took the No. 3 singles match in a third-set tiebreak.

In doubles action, Lee and Fuchs won 8-3 in the top flight, Dekan and Presler won 8-3 at No. 2 and Armstrong and Herzog prevailed 8-4 at No. 3.

The Blugolds were also scheduled to play Iowa Central Community College on Saturday, but the dual was canceled.

UW-Eau Claire returns to the court on Saturday, April 20, when the team visits Wheaton. Tennis begins at 12 p.m. in Wheaton, Illinois.
