MADISON, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Claire Beck (Jr. - Jefferson, Wis.) was named WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week for February 26- March 3. This comes after a stellar performance this weekend at the Millikin University Tournament. 

Beck posted a .571 batting average and drove in eight runs — including a walk-off winner — across four games at the Millikin University (Ill.) Tournament held March 2-3. She propelled the Blugolds to a 9-8 win over Hanover College (Ill.) on March 3 by hitting a two-RBI, walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning to cap her day. She went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI against the Panthers. Beck went 8-for-14 at the plate overall with three multi-hit games.
