DECORAH, Iowa (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's cross country team competed at the Luther Saga Cup on Friday, November 3. The Blugolds took third out of six teams, scoring 88 points. Wartburg was first with 15 points.
First in for the Blugolds was
Logan Meinert (Jr. – Andover, Minn.) in 14
th place with a time of 26:35.0. Following behind was
Cooper Feltz (So. – Germantown, Wis.) placing 20
th overall in a time of 26:52.0.
Rounding out the Blugold top five was
Joey Thaler (Sr. – Chippewa Falls, Wis./McDonell Central Catholic) in 25
th place with a time of 27:06.1,
Evan Guenther (So. – Monticello, Wis./Belleville/New Glarus) in 49
th place with a time of 28:04.3, and
Wes Bruning (Fr. – Woodbury, Minn.) in 51
st place with a time of 28:07.6.
The Blugold men will be back racing at the NCAA North Regional in Colfax, Wis., on Saturday, November 11 at 12 p.m.
