EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (blugolds.com) -- The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's tennis team hosted WIAC opponent UW-Oshkosh this afternoon with a 12:30 PM start. The Blugolds defeated the titans 9-0 in a dominating conference win 

Results 

The Blugolds did a clean sweep against the titans going 6-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles. In singles, Morgan Nelson (Jr.-Beaver Dam, WI) battled winning 3-6,6-3,10-8. Anna Lee (Fr.-Buffalo, MN), Sydney Presler (Sr.-Eau Claire, WI), Liv Herzog (Fr.-Owatonna, MN), and Téa Armstrong (So.-Blue Earth, MN) all tallied shutout wins with final scores of 6-0, 6-0.  

In one doubles Samantha Fuchs (So.-DeForest,WI) and Clare Palen (Jr.-Rochester, MN) defeated Pattee and Schmoldt of UWO 8-1. The duo of Nelson and Lee kept off the titans in two doubles winning 8-5. In three doubles Pressler and Morgan Dekan (so.-Altoona, WI) closed out the sweep beating Stitt and Carpenter of UW-Oshkosh 8-5. 

The Blugolds will compete in the WIAC Championships hosted by UW-Whitewater Saturday October 22nd and Sunday October 23rd.
