EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team had another dominating win moving them to 6-3 on the season. The Blugolds finished conference play with a sweep over UW-Oshkosh 9-0. 

Results 

In doubles play, Sarah Henderson (Prior Lake, Minn.) and partner  Natalie Wijesinghe (Apple Valley, Minn.) won 8-2 at the number one doubles slot. The pair now an impressive 8-1 on the season. At number, two doubles  Olivia Gallagher (Lodi, Wis.) and  Molly Stewart (Amery, Wis.) defeated Leffler/Koppe (UWO) 8-4.  Brooke Volpone (Monticello, Minn.) with partner Hannah Zevenbergen (Baldwin, Wis. / Baldwin-Woodville) finished the doubles sweep with an 8-2 win at number three doubles.

In singles action Henderson and Wijesinghe made quick work at the number one and two spots, both winning 6-2, 6-2, respectively. Gallagher and Stewart dominated their opponents at the number three and four spots both winning 6-0, 6-0.  Kendra Berry (Duluth, Minn/East) won 6-3 over Koppe (UWO) at the number five slot, while Bailey Budnik (Manitowoc, Wis. /Lincoln) earned at 6-1, 6-2 win at number six singles. Freshman Budnik now 8-0 on the season in singles play. 

The Blugolds, now 4-3 in conference play, will play in the WIAC tournament October 22 and 23.
