DE PERE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's basketball team fell Saturday night to the University of St. Norbert 89-60 at Schuldes Sports Center.

St. Norbert outmatched the Blugolds by shooting 63 percent from the floor including 12 three-point shots. The Green Knights took the early in the first half and didn't let go for the entire game.

Nine different players scored for the Green Knights who put up 50 second half points and leading by as much as 41 points.

 Jared Schneidermann  (Jr.-Brooklyn Park, MN/Concordia Academy) led the Blugolds with 13 points on six of 11 shooting. Jack Martinek (Jr. New Brighton, MN/ Irondale) also chipped in 12 points. Chris Duff (So. – Walker, MN) contributed eight points in 20 minutes off the bench as the Blugolds ended their two-game win streak.

The men's record now drops to 5-4 as they enter a break for over two weeks. They'll be back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 29 for a showdown at Zorn Arena against Coe College (Iowa). Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
