EAU CLAIRE (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team earned the top six place winners here today at the "City Wells" Invitational.

The Invitational, hosted by UW-Eau Claire, also featured Viterbo University.

Brendon Paucek (So.-Sullivan, WI/Jefferson) led the charge for the pack of gold jerseys, coming in first place in a 5K time of 15:53.  Wyatt Elmer (Fr.-Mankato, MN/Loyola) took second place in 16:08 while Joe Meister (Jr.-Plymouth, MN/Wayzata) finished third at 16:18.

Josh Bodnar (So.-Nashotah, WI/Arrowhead) and Riley Huffman (Fr.-Oshkosh, WI/North) came in fourth and fifth, respectively, at 16:23 and 16:26. Ryan Graham (So.-Maple Grove, MN) rounded out the top six crossing the finish line in 16:31.

Up next for the Blugolds is the WIAC Championship hosted by UW-La Crosse on Saturday, November 1. Race time is set for 12 p.m.
