Voss enters his second year on the UW-Eau Claire Athletics staff in 2026-27. He serves as the Associate Head Strength and Sports Performance Coach for the Blugolds.
Voss is responsible for the strength and sports performance programming for the men's and women's hockey, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming & diving, and gymnastics programs.
Prior to joining UW-Eau Claire, Voss gained collegiate strength and conditioning experience at St. Cloud State University, where he began as a graduate assistant before being promoted to an assistant strength and conditioning coach. During his time at St. Cloud State, he worked with men's and women's basketball, men's and women's swimming & diving, softball, men's soccer, women's track & field, and men's and women's hockey. He also completed a sports science internship with the University of Minnesota Athletics, working with the men's and women's hockey programs while assisting in the training of professional and Olympic athletes. In addition to his collegiate experience, Voss coached at the high school level in football, baseball, basketball, and strength and conditioning.
Voss earned his bachelor's degree in health science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he was a four-year football letterwinner. He later earned his master's degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Athletic Coaching from St. Cloud State University.
Voss is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He also holds certifications in Triphasic Training, Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) Levels 1-3, and CPR/AED/First Aid.
