Hannah Schaetzel, also known as “Pretzel,” played for the Blugolds from 2017-2021. She was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year earned WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week honors during the 2019 season. She was also on the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.

Schaetzel graduated with a nursing degree and now works as an RN at a UCHealth hospital in Colorado. Skiing has become her new favorite hobby. She still keeps in touch with many of her teammates.
