Why did you choose UW-Eau Claire?
IÂ chose UW-Eau Claire because it allowed me to put my academics first while also being able to compete in athletics. I was drawn to the University because of the great Rehab Science program as well as the success and team culture of the cross country and track teams.
Why do you choose to play Division III?
IÂ chose Division 3 because of the great emphasis on academics. We are students before athletes and I believe that Division 3 has allowed me to use my success in the classroom to build good habits as an athlete as well.
Who is your role model/mentor? Why are they important to you?
My biggest role models are my high school teammate Sylvia Hansen and my collegiate teammate Kirby Ranke. Both of these teammates have pushed me to be my best while also supporting me in all that I do. They both care more about me than just my sport and I look up to them and their positive attitude and their amazing work ethics. Both ladies will make anyone around them a better person and I am extremely grateful to have had them be mentors in my life.

Where is your favorite place to study on campus?
When on campus, I enjoy studying either in Davies or in McPhee.
