Why did you choose Eau Claire?
"I chose UW-Eau Claire because I felt it was a place where I could thrive both academically and athletically. The close-knit, welcoming community and supportive environment stood out to me, and I knew I would be surrounded by people who encourage me to be the best version of myself and succeed in life."
Who is your role model/mentor? Why are they important to you?
"My mom is my biggest role model and primary mentor. She always gives me the advice I need to hear, even when it’s tough to accept. She consistently pushes me to grow, grounds me in my strengths, and holds me to a high standard. I deeply admire her wisdom, resilience, and character, and I strive to model my own life and career after the example she sets every day."
If you could have dinner with any athlete, past or present, who would it be and why?
"If I could have dinner with any former teammate, it would be my high school cross country and track running partner. We had that perfect balance of friendly competition and total support; if one of us was having a rough workout, the other was right there to set the pace and pull them through. It’d be so fun to sit down, catch up on where life's taken us, and talk about all those long runs that brought us together in the first place."

If you weren't playing your sport, what sport would you compete in instead?
"Track, I can’t hit or catch a ball to save my life."
What's the most unusual item you always have in your backpack or locker?
"Floss, a must have"
