Why did you choose Eau Claire?
"UWEC has a beautiful campus that I genuinely enjoy walking around everyday, and the academic side of things gave me many options to find what I was passionate about."
In the past year, what is something new you learned?
"I learned that sometimes all you can do is take each day as it comes, and that's okay too."
Who is your sports idol?
"Elise Brown, one of my closest friends and someone with whom I've played softball for many years growing up, is, without a doubt in my mind, my sports idol. She has emanated a compassion, love and understanding of herself in the toughest of times that I will always look up to. Elise acknowledges the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of playing the game and values each to continually give back to a sport she loves, thereby sharing that love with others."
