Curt Jensen enters his ninth year coaching at UW-Eau Claire in 2026-27.

Jensen has assisted in coaching national champions Gage Stankiewicz, Adam Strouf, Catie Fobbe, Yakob Ekoue, David Kornack and Erica Oawster as well as numerous national qualifiers and all-Americans. Jensen an Illinois State graduate competed and was a 5-time NCAA Division I qualifier and 2-time all-American in the shot put. As a professional he competed at the 2016 and 2021 US Olympic Trials in the shot put. Jensen has a personal best of 70’11.5” in the shot put, 178’7” in the discus and 197’8” in the hammer throw.
