EAU CLAIRE, Wis.- The Blugolds women's cross country team kicked off its season with its annual Alumni Meet on Saturday at Eau Claire City Wells.
Molly Heidorn took first place in the 6k race with a time of 23:42.
Rachel Gregorich grabbed second place with a time of 23:45 while
Bella Hooker rounded out the top three at a pace of 23:45 as well. Alumni Katie Faris finished first among the alumni and fifth overall at 24:43. Eight Blugolds finished in the top-ten while winning the meet with 16 team points.
The Blugold women will take the course to take on outside competition for the first time on Saturday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. when they travel to Northfield, Minn., to participate in the St. Olaf Invitational.
